The
Orchard Church is a Baptist rooted community
of believers.
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the inspired
and only infallible, authoritative Word of
God.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing
in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived
by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary
and is fully God and fully man.
Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit was sent into
the world by the Father and the Son to apply
to mankind the saving work of Christ.
Man
We believe that man was created in the image
of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred
not only physical death, but also spiritual
death which is separation from God.
Salvation
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died
for our sins and that He rose victorious from
the grave; all those who accept His gift of
salvation by faith alone will be saved.
The Church
We believe that there is one family of God,
comprised of all those who acknowledge Jesus
Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe that
the Scripture commands His children to gather
together in local assemblies, called Churches.
Christ's Return
We believe in the personal and imminent return
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Eternity
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the
just and the unjust, the everlasting joy of
the saved and the everlasting conscious punishment
of the lost.
Baptism
We believe that water baptism by immersion
is the Biblical testimony of the professed
believer in the name of the Father, Son and
Holy Spirit.
Lord's Supper
We believe that those who partake of the Lord’s
Supper should be born-again believers, who
have followed the Lord in believers baptism
and are walking in fellowship with the Lord
Jesus Christ.
